My playlist for writing code with a calm heart.
Some people code to electronic music. I code to boleros.
There’s something about that mix of guitar, requinto and voices that lament so elegantly that helps me focus. Maybe it’s that boleros are never in a hurry, and good code shouldn’t be either.
How I use it
- For debugging: slow boleros. When something breaks, I need calm.
- For designing: early music, no lyrics, so ideas have room.
- For finishing a project: norteño, because it’s time to celebrate.
